House London

Total refurbishment of a Victorian terraced property in Holland Park with extensive reconstruction of the garden.  Beautiful period details, such as jade-green marble fireplaces, were retained and enhanced by adding clean modern lines to the interior layout.  The color scheme has been picked up again throughout the property in subtle, whimsical nods to the exotic: a bespoke kitchen uniting contemporary form with classical green and bronze (and stone imported from the owner’s native alps); a patio of glazed green tiles from Marrakech leading up to a lush garden complete with palm trees.

Meticulous attention to detail is abundant in best-in-class German joinery as well as clever solutions such as a concealed “vertical mud room” offering parking for the owner’s children’s prams; a fold-out king-sized bed in the playroom; and a tunneled-under garden providing ample storage space.
